Not so nice weekend

0720 - After office, I headed to Market! Market! to buy some stuffs/gifts for Matt (my colleague's son) who's first birthday is on the 21st and Angelo (my cousin) which will be baptized on the 29th (im one of the ninangs). For Matt, i was able to buy polo and shorts terno at Big&Small Co. For Angelo, I bought him 1 romper, 1 hat, 1 bib, 1 pair of shoes from Enfant. And guess what, both gifts were all ON SALE. For all the stuffs that I bought cost me around 800php only (both store are on 50% off). Great finds arent they? And of course, I wouldnt forget to buy stuffs for my Janea as well. Gingersnaps are on sale too, so I grabbed 2 blouses for my little girl. Shopping galore.

0721 - Our Saturday afternoon went good. Bon arrived a little late (and drunk) as there was a celebration because their training has just ended. It really irritates me when he's drunk. Sobrang arte kesyo masakit ang ulo, nasusuka, at kung ano-ano pa. Ang sabi ko nga sa kanya kung iinom siya wag siya mag-iinarte sa akin ng ganon, dahil imbes na maawa ako, tatalakan ko pa siya hehe. He's not supposed to come with us at Matt's 1st birthday that afternoon but he insisted. So sabi ko, umayos siya don at huwag magpahalatang lasing. We're off to Max's Resto ParkSquare at 3:30 pm. We got there at exactly 4. And party was about to start. I participated in one game (shopping game - where I should collect all the things that are listed in the paper given to me) but I lost there hehe. Pano ang dami ko kulang hehe. There was a magic show where everybody enjoyed! Galing! Party ended at around 6:30. Nung nasa cab na kami, nahipo ko si Janea medyo mainit. And so Im right. Pagdating sa bahay mataas na ang lagnat niya 39.1. I was thinking what have caused her fever. Few hours ago at the party she was very active and all of a sudden bigla na lang siya uminit. I was thinking of tonsilitis (she's very prone to that) because she ate some ice cream and drank iced tea. Madaling araw she was very fuzzy, she cant sleep. So puyat din ako..

0722 - She still has fever. Pero bumaba na to 38.3. I kept on monitoring her temp, minsan baba, minsan mataas. So i thought of bringing her to ER kasi pedia isnt available that time. Pero nung hapon, nawala na rin ang lagnat niya. She became very playful and active again until evening. That night sinat na lang 37.8 temp nya. So I decided na if she still has fever today (Monday) I will bring her to her pedia. Thank God that she slept soundly the whole night which I thought it means she's feeling well already.

This morning she woke up feeling well. Pero medyo nanlalambot pa but wala na lagnat. Thank God talaga it was nothing serious. Baka napasama lang yung labas namen last Saturday afternoon. But I keep on calling sa house to check on her. Bon told me na wala na talaga. And it really made me feel good and worry free. And I hope tuloy-tuloy na.

I so love FRIDAY

Yehey! its Friday again and oh i so love this day…

Reasons why I love FRIDAY:

a) weekend! MEANING - my work stops.

b) gimik time (sometimes)

c) Saturday tomorrow and it means id get to spend more time with my baby.

d) every two weeks, money comes my way (if 15th and 30th falls on weekend or Monday) hahaha! mukang pera..

e) I just love it.

HAPPY WEEKEND GUYS… cant wait til 6.

Bonding

I am on leave today (see why on previous post). So I dressed up and brought Janea to the mall. Although feeling ko kakapusin ako sa hininga for carrying her but still, I decided to go.

Sa fx pa lang pasikat na ang bata. Since passenger seat kami nakasakay, kinakausap ba naman yung driver?! As if ang galing nang magsalita. Pilit pang hinahawakan yung kambio. Parang may alam sa paghawak non. Then nung may sumakay sa tabi ko, kinausap din niya ng kinausap. Tuwang tuwa nga sa kanya yung guy. Hehe wave bye bye pa siya nung bumaba yung guy. Tapos nung tinayo ko siya, maya-maya nagbu-beautiful eyes ang bata! Tawa pa ng tawa. Ayun pala, may katawanan na sa likod na girl. Tuwang tuwa tuloy sa kanya yung mga pasahero sa likod.

Nung nasa mall na kami, pinalakad ko muna siya. Pero inalalayan ko kasi gewang-gewang pa pag siya mag-isa. Aba at nagmamadali! Para bang excited at first time nakapunta sa mall. Napagod tuloy ako sa pag-alalay sa kanya. We went to 5th Floor because I wanted her to have pictorial at Child's Play (where she has 6 months membership). But this time, nawala ang pagkabibo ng bata. Ayaw ngumiti at humiwalay sa akin. Gusto kasama ako sa set. Eh hindi naman pupuwede. So we did everything we can just to catch her attention. May mga shots na Ok, pero konti lang. I printed out 2 shots lang. After the photo session, we went to National to buy stuffs for Yuji then headed to Kenny Rogers to eat. I had mashed potato for Jan and oh she liked it. Halos maubos niya half of it. Plus iced tea. After eating, umuwi na rin kami. Napagod siguro ang baby kaya nakatulog sa Fx.

I had fun bonding with my child. Kahit nagkandakuba na ako pagbuhat sa kanya (coz I cant afford to bring the stroller alone) ok lang. I had fun. I really had fun. Looking forward for more of our strolling moments. Just the two of us. Iba pa rin kasi kung kaming dalawa lang hehe. Lalo siguro mas enjoy if she's walking alone.

Wanted: Yaya

Naiinis ako sa yaya ni Janea. Nagpaalam magde-dayoff last Saturday and promised to be back Sunday evening. Pinayagan ko since hindi na nga siya nakaalis for the last 3 weeks (which is her decision na wag magday-off). Tutal sabi ko hindi na siya nagdedayoff so I allowed her to go overnight.

Sunday came and no yaya showed up. I was patiently waiting for her call (she knows our number) to advise na baka male-late siya. Pero walang tawag na natanggap. I still expected her to arrive until midnight pero wala.

Kaninang umaga, akala ko nandyan na. Pero wala pa rin. Dito na uminit ang ulo ko, pinag-usapan na namin yun before (when she did this the first time - yes, this is 2nd already) na its ok kung magtagal sa dayoff as long as valid yung reason at basta magpapasabi. Hindi yung sasabihin na Sunday babalik, naghintay ako ng Sunday, ni tawag wala. And that's what pisses me off.

When she did it first time, she was 5 days away. Walang text or tawag kqming nqtanggap. I was already looking for a replacement when she arrived. Ang sabi niya nagkasakit daw siya. So I understood (pero naghinala din ako kasi di naman siya mukang nagkasakit) pero pinabalik ko pa rin siya. Ang sabi ko sa kanya, ok lang valid naman coz she got sick. Pero ang ayaw ko lang is yung naghihintay pala kami sa wala. Ano ba naman yung tumawag siya sa bahay or mag-utos siya to call us. Ayoko sa lahat yung magsasabi ka ng di mo naman tinutupad. As if hindi kami amo. Parang ang feeling ko dahil sa sobrang bait ko sa kanila eh inaabuso nila. Its like "ok lang naman kay ate, di naman nagagalit yan". Kainis.

So ngayon, nakapag-leave ako ng wala sa oras dahil wala mag-alaga kay Janea. I cant leave to my lola alone. Bon has work and cannot afford a leave yet coz he's just starting. So bukas, anong gagawin ko?

If ever dumating yung yaya niya this day. I would never know what to do…

What happened lately?

Nothing. hehe. My week passes by and nothing happened. Oh before I forget, Bon has started in his new work last Monday. I just hope tuloy tuloy na. Yun nga lang, we almost dont see each other everyday! My shift's from 9am-6pm and his is 10pm-7am. So its either I go home very early (which I am trying to do lately, as in eksaktong 6 lalabas ng office) or I'll leave the house LATE around 8:30am (and so Im late too). tiis-tiis lang. Good thing he's off during weekends. So weekends will be something special to us.

Last Sunday, we visited Lhanie's rented house as she is convincing us to live there when she's off to Singapore with her family. The house is quite small, but OK for just the 3 of us. She is selling her aircon and ref as well. Rent is affordable and I think kaya naman namin. I think its time to live on our own. Time to spend with our own money. We've been living with my lola since we're together (when Janea came) and they are paying for the bills, food, everything. Our money? just ours pero kahit papano nagshare din naman kahit konti. Naisip ko lang na its okay to my family for us to live there. Pero shempre, mahirap kasi nakikisama, especially for Bon. Kaya we've both decided to move out. Start our lives on our own. I just hope we can surpass. Syempre, nandyan na ang pagtitipid, pagba-budget coz wala ng magbabayad for our bills. Kami na lang.

Im quite excited with this idea. Even before im excited to live my life alone. Kung hindi ako nagkaanak, maybe nagrerent na ako ng sariling condo! hahaha! Pero now, mata-try ko na. With Bon and Janea. Walang pakikisamahan. Kaming dalawa lang.. (and a maid hehe)

Yesterday, I went out with 2 of my daughter's godparents. Jonas and Lhanie. Jonas as usual treated us for dinner at Glorietta (Chef d Angelo) and a cup of frappe from Coffee Bean. Its really good when you get so full without paying a single cent. haha! Next time ulet Jonas!

I hate Mondays

There are some reasons why I really hate this day. When Sunday evening comes, I really dont want to sleep. I'd love to spend the evening with my family especially with my baby. Sigh. Why do Mondays make me sick.

1. WORK. Means that I have to work my a*s off again. I know this isnt the right attitude to get LAZY at the start of the week, but I AM. I always feel so heavy when Monday morning comes. I dont want to go to work, i want to sleep more, i want to REST (weekend isnt enough).

2. Traffic - still related to WORK. I just cant get the difference why roads are so full on MONDAYS. Is there any difference with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday? Are there lesser vehicles ending in 1 & 2? This explains my morning rush and occassional tardiness.

3. WORK Related again - SO many tickets (support) are coming in DURING MONDAYS. why the hell that USERS are working on Weekends, that they raise an issue that needs to be done, MONDAY? I dont know if its just coincidence or NOT. But really, my workload just pisses me off whenever Monday comes. Like now. But Im still lazy to get them done. hehe.

4. It really makes me sad whenever I see my daughter cry when I leave for work. The bond that we have shared during weekend is really something. So maybe she is thinking that I will not leave her forever. But when Monday comes and I have to go, she cries. IT tears my heart. I feel sad. And I want to go on Sick leave.

5. I JUST HATE IT.

Is she showing signs of being "violent"?

note that word violent is quoted I am just exaggerating things here 

Please check out my second to the last post where I narrated how my daughter slapped my face when i dont want to wake up and play with her.

This morning when Janea and I are having breakfast, she keeps on picking up the rice and throw it on the floor. Being the slightly OC mom (where I would want everything clean, even meal time) I told her to stop and kept her hands off the plate. I doubt now if my child is really JUST A YEAR OLD (hehe) when she suddenly looked up to me and hit my face for the second time!

During our morning nap just a few hours ago, she wanted to get out of the bed and play on the floor. But I wanted her to lie down because its her time to sleep so I constantly blocked her way so she cant get down. My baby suddenly hit my arm (third time) and really exerted 100% effort to get out of the bed! When she's FINALLY on the floor, she hit me once again (4th) and say "aaaahhhh".

I dont know if I would be happy (because she's somehow witty) or be alarmed on how my baby reacts. Is she getting this on TV (this early)? I am sure that she does not get this from US (parents) or anybody inside our house. Why is she like this? Should I be alert that my baby is "violent"?

On the brighter side, she did get her Chicken Pox vaccine yesterday. I was so proud with my baby and she's now somehow interactive. She talks to the other babies in the clinic and other moms are fond of her. They say "ang cute ng baby mo, ang daldal!" and surprised when they learned she is only 1 year old. She even played Eat bulaga with her pedia where she hides from the sliding door of pedias office and say "gaaaahh!" to the pedia hehehehe. Kulet no.

the rain, the pizza and the slap

Whoopee! Its been raining this past few days.. I love the rain so much but I hate the feeling of getting so lazy to go to work whenever it rains in the morning. haay, summer's over but im loving it. I started to hate summer since the heat is getting to my nerves, and my baby got her freaking prickly heat. She cannot sleep well at night (since we dont have ac at our room). She often wakes up crying and reaching her back with matching "ti..ti..ti" meaning makati read: itchy. I will then pour overflowing cornstarch powder on her back and she stops crying. Ewan ko kung dahil nawala ang kati or sa sobrang antok, nakalimutan na ang kati hehe

It was raining hard yesterday mga 6 pm just when Im about to go home na. bv! i wanted to go home early pa naman sana. Then my friend texted me asking if we can have dinner at Greenbelt instead just to wait for the rain to stop. So I said yes. I waited for them (she and her friend) to fetch me and in less than half hour we're at Greenbelt. We're supposed to eat at Krokodile's Grille but we feel like eating pizza pasta so we ended eating at Di Marks. Pizza is good and hot sauce is so damn HOT (kaya nga HOT e) Grabe.. nakailang hingi yata ako nag tubig kasi sobrang anghang talaga.. mas malala pa sa TABASCO. Tsika-tsika ng konti and decided to go home at 9:30. Uhmm that was not nice tho - for 2 slices of pizza plus super walang lasang iced tea it costs me P330. yah. that was big for me. I should have eaten pasta na lang. hehe.

Janea's sleeping when i got home. So i just kissed her goodnight. Natatawa ako sa kanya kaninang umaga. I think she woke up at 6 am and I am still so sleepy kaya di ko siya pinapansin. She just kept staring at me and saying "ho..ho..ho" (Santa Claus is that you?) pero dedma lang ako. I think she got irritated kasi di ko siya pinapansin and all of a sudden a big PLAK! slapped on my face. I learned that it was her and when I looked at her she was smiling her heart out as if nothing happened. My face hurts (yes it hurts) but her smile just melt my heart.
